How to take the test

  1. Apply to TfL for a PHV driver licence.
  2. Book and pass the English language requirement (B1) if needed.
  3. Sit the SERU assessment at a TfL assessment centre.
  4. Pass the separate topographical skills assessment (map reading and route planning).
